Department of Public Services
The Department of Public Services is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all City of Hastings parks, trails, streets, water and sewer systems, equipment operation and maintenance, and public parking lots.

Department staff work in the field Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and other hours as needed. Please call the administrative specialist with questions or to report concerns so that they can be handled appropriately.
For after-hours emergencies, including water main breaks and plugged sewers, please contact Barry County Central Dispatch at 269-948-4800.
