PUBLIC NOTICE

Request for Proposals for Holiday Landscape Planting 2026

Notice is hereby given that the City of Hastings Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is requesting proposals from qualified florists, landscaping companies, and creative professionals for the design and installation of holiday greenery in the downtown planters for the 2026-2027 holiday season.

The scope of work includes twelve (12) rectangular planters (15’ x 58’) and fifty-eight (58) round planters (3’ diameter) located along both the north and south sides of State Street, from Broadway to Boltwood. All planting and placement materials should reflect a holiday/winter theme.

Sealed proposals or bids must be received on or before Monday, September 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer, with “Holiday Landscape” wording on package. Proposals or bids are to be delivered to:
