City of Hastings PUBLIC NOTICE

July Board of Review

Act 14 of 1985, being Section 211.53 (b) of the General Property Tax Act, provides for the July Board of Review to meet to correct qualified errors, and to consider appeals to the Qualified Agricultural Exemption, taxable value uncapping, the Disabled Veterans Exemption, and the Poverty Exemption at a meeting to be held for that purpose, during the week of the third Monday in July.

On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, a meeting will be called for this purpose at 9:00 AM in the Second Floor Conference Room at City Hall, 201 E State St, Hastings, MI 49058, to conduct business as provided for in Section 211.53 (b), Michigan Compiled Laws.

The City will provide necessary aids and services to individuals with disabilities upon five days’ notice to the Clerk of the City of Hastings. Individuals requiring these services should contact the Clerk of the City of Hastings at 269-945-2468, or via email at lperin@hastingsmi.gov.
