Hastings DDA Continues Downtown Planning with Community Survey

Building on its recent launch of public listening sessions, the Hastings Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is inviting residents, business owners, and community members to participate in a community-wide survey to help shape the future of Downtown Hastings.

The brief 10-minute survey, open now through Sunday, January 18 , is the next step in a months-long effort to gather feedback from those who live, work, and spend time downtown. Responses will help the DDA better understand current perceptions, community priorities, and ideas for improvement—ranging from infrastructure and amenities to business development and events.

“This survey is a chance for us to hear what really matters to people in our community,” said Patty Woods, Chair of the Hastings DDA. “We’re not just collecting opinions. We want this feedback to guide real decisions and help shape the future of downtown.”

The DDA encourages all members of the community—residents, workers, property owners, business leaders, and downtown visitors—to take the survey and help shape the direction of future investment, programs, and improvements.

Survey results will help inform the DDA’s strategy planning process and lay the groundwork for future investments and initiatives. The goal is to ensure that downtown continues to reflect the evolving needs and values of the Hastings community.
